Sadie, an 11 month old lab mix got sick on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009. Steve and Tammy Smith took her to the the Emergency Vet clinic in Havelock, NC. The doctor did an X-Ray and it showed that Sadie had a bowel obstruction. She needed emergency surgery. The doctor removed a large rock that was lodged in her intestines. Sadie recovered and is currenty living happily ever after with Jonathan Herold, Amanda Sexton and their daughter Jackie in New Bern, NC. |

For our educational technology class we had to create a 5 minute iMovie. This was suppose to be related to "5 minute facts" where you give facts about something and then challenge people to participate! Our group was assigned and when we came together during class, we automatically agreed on doing our movie over plastic water bottles vs. water filters/reusable water bottles. We took facts about water bottles and how they can damage our environment and then gave facts about how a reusable water bottle is a healthy way to go. Putting humor into this video, we made a challenge at the end of our movie to try and get "you" to use a reusable water bottle/water filter! Hope you enjoy the movie as much as we enjoyed making it! |
